JOEY STUCKEY SUMS UP MUSIC IN THREE WORDS: LANGUAGE OF ANGELS!!!
We would gladly let anyone from the Great British Bake-off cook us dinner too!!!!
Hi Joey! Thanks for being here!
Glad to be here!
Do you have a favorite holiday song?
Too many LOL.
But, if I had to pick just one, I would have to say I love every version of Jingle Bells. That is why I recorded a special version for my own Christmas EP, check out the lyric video below.
https://youtu.be/jZXfhU-BwcQ I also love Good King Wenceslaus, what a melody!
Have you celebrated any recent victories? If so, tell us!
Every day I am alive and able to live the life I have chosen in music is a victory! I am a blind brain tumor survivor and have many health challenges, but I fight for every moment and am doing what I love, music! I have also lost over 70 pounds and still going strong with my weight loss!
Do you have any go-to restaurants in your hometown?
With COVID and also focusing on my weight loss, I haven’t been eating out, but man oh man, do we have some amazing places to eat in Macon, GA. It’s the south, so you know it’s good cookin’! When I get back to eating out, can’t wait to go to Kudzu to eat some of their shrimp and grits!
If you had to sum up music in three words, which would you choose?
Language of angels!
If you had a time machine would you choose to go back in time or visit the future?
Hmmm, good question, my love of history would pull me to want to be part of some of the world’s watershed moments, equally my sense of wonder and curiosity would pull me to want to visit the future and see the wonders of a hopefully better age. But I know that after I was tempted with both of these options, I would choose neither. Best to let the past and future alone and be in the moment!
If you could have anyone make you dinner, who would it be and why?
Oh, well this is a conundrum! Do I want a dinner where the food is secondary and it is more about the company? Or do I want a world-class chef to cook me some art?
If I choose the former, I would probably say RuPaul, the stories oh the stories!!!
For the food, Paul Hollywood from The Great British bake-off!
Are you looking forward to any holiday traditions this season?
Keeping things quiet this year, but I do love to watch some Christmas movies with my wife Jennifer. We like Muppet Christmas Carol, White Christmas and it’s A Wonderful Life just to name a few!
Please tell our readers where they can follow you!
