Single Review: 7th & Hope Releases New Single “Brand New Day

Los Angeles and London based Indie-Popduo, 7th & Hope have released new single “Brand New Day” on July 16th, 2021.

7th & Hope is the brainchild of singer/songwriters Patricia Bahia (Los Angeles) and Betty Lawrence (London). Combining sounds of Indie, pop, EDM along with powerful drums and acoustic elements 7th & Hope produces music that focuses on themes of empowerment, authenticity and living life! The music of 7th & Hope has been nominated for and won many songwriting awards like the John Lennon Songwriting Contest (Finalists in 2017 and 2018), the International Songwriting Contest (Grand Prize in 2018), Positive Music Award in 2019 and the Peace Song Award in 2019. “Brand New Day” is a very cheerful, happy tune. When you listen you just feel at ease, all your worries are washed away and you begin to enjoy the moment. “Brand New Day” is the type of song that brings you out of the darkness and you can see the light at the end of the tunnel to happiness. After the year and a half we have all had, this song is a great anthem to look towards the future to a new day. The track is catchy, hopeful and just produces amazing, worry free, chill happy vibes! I really enjoy “Brand New Day,” the lead vocals by Lawrence are delivered perfectly! Her voice is absolutely beautiful, paired perfectly with the backing harmony vocals of Bahia’s. The music is uplifting, melodic and not too overpowering to let the vocals shine as the star of the song.
